Coaching Focus provides a robust Coach Certification Program in coaching skills mapped against the International Coach Federation (ICF) Core Competencies. It builds the attitude and mindset needed to coach and layers it with coaching techniques that encourage deeper exploration of options and solutions.
Leaders need to ‘dance’ between many modes in their daily work, from mentoring to coaching, to guiding to counsellling, but primarily lead others, holding true to the coaching mindset and questioning approach in every interaction. This program will ensure the coaching mindset is well understood and becomes the primary modality used in all interactions. The less formal coaching conversations will then arise in collegiate conversations across the school as the coaching framework is adopted in the course of everyday conversation styles. The program will also explore the issues of confidentiality and reporting when coaching colleagues.
