Coaching is one of the principle tools modern organisations have for developing their people. It provides the necessary reflective processes and feedback mechanisms for self-improvement. Coaching is now routinely used with leaders, teams and individuals to improve capability, performance, leaderships skills and transformational change. Job advertisements are now calling for coaching skills as part of the suite of skills and experience for an applicant to bring to the role. Coaching is solution-focused, enhancing resilience, accountability and problem solving skills in those who are coached.
Through this one-day Coaching Conversations workshop, you will receive an introduction to the attitude and language needed to carry out conversations using a coaching style. The workshop allows you to explore tools and techniques to develop your coaching conversation style and to explore the areas where you can use coaching with students, colleagues and parents. There will also be ample opportunity to try out your new skills.
