The Value of DISC Profiling

The key to relationships is healthy communication. The DISC is a powerful profiling tool, revealing your behavioural style and how you prefer to communicate. DISC also demonstrates how you can improve your communication with others. We’ll discuss the profiling report, you’ll see your own profile, and together we’ll explore success strategies that you can immediately implement. As part of your profiling report, your key motivators have been mapped and will be presented and discussed. Once you understand your own motivations, you can align your actions with your career goals.

The Program

  1. Workshop introduction to the DISC and Driving Forces models for the group across 4 hours with a short break included.
  2. Purchase of Talent Insights – DISC and Driving Forces Profile Reports for each member of the leadership team.
  3. Optional post-workshop: Individual 1 hour coaching sessions for the members of the leadership team to walk them through their own profile report identifying their strengths, challenges, time wasters and areas for improvement and develop an action plan.

  • Understand the DISC behavioural profiling model
  • Reveal individual behavioural styles and communication styles
  • Explore the communication preferences of others and how to adjust styles for better communication
  • Learn how to identify styles in team members and colleagues and use this information to improve team effectiveness and dynamics.

Plotting the Team on a Wheel

In a team setting, using DISC profiles is a powerful mechanism. We will be able to plot each team members profile on a team wheel and use this information to understand and appreciate difference across the leadership group. Plotting the team profiles will help to understand the challenges present in developing a high functioning, trusting, collaborative team, that is confident and comfortable to hold robust conversations and allow us to identify how to best utilize the talents across the team for effective results.
