1-hour Strategic Coaching Session 1:1 with Janine Stratford (Leadership Coach and Career Strategist) to be utilised inside the 3 months following the program.
Do you want to improve the way you lead?
Are you too busy getting stuck in the day-to-day to look at the bigger picture?
Have you been in your current leadership role for more than 12 months?
Are you wanting to be more strategic?
This program is focused on improving your leadership, empowering your team and leading with purpose and vision.
You can be a member of the teaching and non-teaching staff. The issues of leadership are still the same.
Still not sure if this program is right for you, call us on 03 9598 8582 and we can have a conversation about it.
Here’s a look inside at what we’ll cover:
It is rare to be given the time to truly examine how you are leading your team. This program will take a deep dive into how you build the capacity of your team, how you influence them and how you are working towards achieving the vision and goals for your team.
You will be coached and you will coach others. You will explore your leadership, your vision, and how you are empowering your team.
Janine Stratford is the owner and founder of Coaching Focus, the company developing leaders in schools to be role models for those around them. She has designed the Leadership Blueprint based on the leadership challenges that Principals have identified are missing in leadership development. A former Deputy Principal, Janine is an internationally qualified Leadership Coach, facilitator and coach-trainer. She is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coach Federation, Master Coach Practitioner and a Certified Professional Behavioural Analyst. Janine now delivers leadership development programs throughout Australia and New Zealand.
Is this coach-training? No this is not coach-training. It will expose you to coaching as you will be coached and coach others, so you will become more familiar with coaching. However, it will achieve two things – if you don’t know how to coach, you will experience the amazing benefits of coaching because you will be coached.
The amount of learning focused on the skill of coaching does not allow for this program to be a certified coach-training program. If you want to learn how to coach, we suggest you take the Coach Certification Program – a 2 day program (20 hours of coach-training) that is provided once every term. You can find out more about the program HERE.
I’m new in my role. Is this program suitable for me? This program is designed for people who are in leadership roles and have held that role for at least 12 months. If you are new to leadership, we suggest you take the Elevating Leadership Program – a 4 module program that will help you to be CLEAR, CONFIDENT, CONSISTENT and CONSIDERED. You can find out more about the program HERE.
In an industry saturated with professional learning programs, Janine offers something incredibly valuable to school leaders. Highly recommended.
Maria Haggett, Principal, Mater Christi College, VIC
Having worked with Janine in her capacity as a Career Strategist and Coach Trainer, with her experience and background, I believe she really is the ‘go to person’ for schools looking to make a meaningful difference in the capacity of their staff.

In-person program: Wednesday 6 November 2024
Virtual program: Wednesday 20 November 2024
We are offering this program in 2 modes on two dates.
In-person: Melbourne – Brighton Beach Hotel, The Esplanade, Brighton, VIC
The venue has magnificent water views.
Virtual – you can attend from anywhere, on your device.
The group size is kept small (between 20 and 30) on purpose. This allows you to have more time for discussion in small groups and with the facilitator to focus on your own development.
The design of the program allows for a good pace, with a high level of interaction and discussion.
